13-21 ‘The Adventures of Figaro’ for Opera Queensland. Touring with this new version of Rossini’s ‘Barber of Seville’ starring Jason Barry-Smith, Asheigh Crane, Jaewoo Kim, Matthew Broadbent and Sandro Colarelli with new condensed orchestration for clarinet, cello and piano by Craig Allister Young.

8, 15, 22 – “Mason & Hamlin live: 4MBS festival” Direct broadcasts from the 4MBS studio featuring performances from Queensland’s finest musicians.
May 8 – Kevin Power solo recital
May 15 – Sine Winther, Helen Lam-Winther and Stewart Kelly perform solo works by Schumann and Schubert and works for piano four-hands by Schubert.
May 22- Natasha Vlassenko solo recital
17 – 4MBS festival – Beethoven Marathon. Performing the symphonies for piano four hands. Stewart performs Symphony no. 3 ‘Eroica’ with Angela Turner and Symphony No. 5 with Laurence Matheson (replacing Anna Grinberg and Liam Viney).
23 – 10th Anniversary Celebration Gala for Athena College. Stewart performs Mozart Four Hand Sonata in D and a solo work TBC.

24, 25 – Regional recitals in Moree and Mungingdi with Emily Sheppard and Robert Manly.

30 – August 8 – 25th Australian Festival of Chamber Music, Townsville. Stewart attends as official pianist to the Winterschool. Repertoire includes Strauss violin sonata, Beethoven A major cello sonata, Chopin cello sonata, Dvorak cello concerto, Mozart Oboe concerto.

1 – Stewart performs with young rising stars in a program of Delius, Wieniawski, Cassado, Boccherini, Popper and songs for the Soroptimist Society, Toorak.
5 – Private house recital, Fitzroy Melbourne. Program to include Schubert Fantasy for four-hands, Franck violin sonata and solo pieces.
6 – Fellowship recital for Justin Beere, Australian National Academy of Music, South Melbourne Town Hall, 6.30pm. Stewart performs the Shostakovich Concertino for two pianos.
8 – St Silas Anglican Church, ‘Music on Sundays’ series. Stewart performs the Janacek Fairytale for cello and piano with Paul Zabrowarny.
